한국에 거주하는 외국 무슬림들이 꾸준히 늘어가고 있다. 이와 더불어 이슬 람 포교활동도 눈에 띄게 증가하고 있다. 한국에서 이슬람 포교활동은 두 방 향으로 진행되고 있다. 한 방향은 이슬람에 대한 부정적인 인식을 변화시키 기 위한 변증적 활동이며, 다른 한 방향은 기독교의 핵심 교리를 공격하는 것이다. 이슬람이 기독교의 중요 교리를 공격하는 것은 이슬람이 근본적으 로 반기독교적(antichristianity)이며 적그리스도적(antichrist)인 종교이기 때문 이지만, 이 방법이 삼위일체 하나님과 복음의 진리에 대한 분명한 이해와 확 신이 없는 기독교인에게 이슬람 전하는데 효과가 있기 때문이다. 미국에서 이슬람으로 개종한 사람의 무려 73%가 이전 기독교인 이었다는 2017년 PEW의 보고서는 한국 기독교인들도 이슬람의 신학적 공세와 유혹에 결코 안전하지 않다는 것을 보여준다. 이러한 상황을 염두에 두고, 본 논문은 이슬람이 한국에서 포교를 위해 기독 교의 교리를 어떻게 왜곡하고 공격하는지 조사하고, 이슬람의 신학적 공격 에 대한 교회의 대응 방안을 제시하기 위한 목적으로 작성되었다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 먼저 한국이슬람교중앙회가 각 모스크와 무슬림들을 통해 무료로 배포하고 있는 12 이슬람 표교지 시리즈와 12 소책자 시리즈의 내용들이 기 독교의 핵심 교리를 어떻게 왜곡하고 공격하고 있는지를 조사하였다. 그리 고 조사에서 드러난 결과를 토대로 이슬람의 신학적 공격에 교회가 해야 할 대응방안으로 신앙고백 교육을 강화하고, 예배에서 삼위일체 하나님을 만나 고 경험하도록 하며, 무슬림들이 제기하는 신학적 내용과 거기에 대한 대답 을 숙지하도록 해야 한다는 제안을 하였다. 본 논문이 제안하는 세 가지 방안은 교회가 기독교인들로 하여금 이슬람의 신학적 공격과 유혹으로부터 자신의 신앙을 굳게 지키게 하고, 신학적 질문 으로 도전해 오는 무슬림들에게 복음의 진리를 두려움 없이 전하도록 만들 것으로 기대한다.
Abstract
In the recent years, the numbers of foreign Muslims residing in Korea and Koreans who converted to Islam have been continuously increasing. Alongside with this, efforts to spread Islam have also been ostensibly expanding. In Korea, propagation of Islam is happening in two ways. The first way is using apology to affect the negative social stigma around Islam and the other is by attacking the core truths of the Bible and the Christian faith that underset its true values. Such method is utilized not only because Islam is fundamentally a religion that is antichrist and antichristianity but also because it effectively delivers Islam to those who are familiar to Christianity and christians who do not have a clear understanding of the concept of the Trinity and Biblical truth. A 2017 report by PEW states that 73% of converts to Islam in the U.S. were previously Christian, show- ing that Christians in Korea are not safe from Islam’s theological challenges and temptations. Keeping these cases in mind, this study will find out how Islam distorts and attacks the Christian truth and offer possible countermeasures the Korean Church can take in order to respond to these attacks by Islam. In order to do so, the study first examine how the free booklets and pamphlets distributed by the Korean Muslim Federation through mosques and Muslims distort and attack the core Christian doctrines. Based on the result of such examination, the study suggests that the Korean Church’s countermeasures should be the fortification of catechism, the trinitarian worship, education of islamic doctrines and their fallacies These three suggestions will be able to let the Church and believers strongly hold on to their faiths from Islam’s ideological attacks and luring, and preaching the truth of the gospel to the Muslims who challenge their faiths by questioning the validity of their beliefs.
