본 연구의 목적은 예비기독교사의 자질을 향상시키기 위해 감성지능, 의사 소통능력 및 리더십 역량을 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구대상은 A 대학교 예비 기독교사인 기독교교육과 학생 109명과 타 단과대학학생 1,893명이다. 연구 결과, 예비기독교사의 감성지능과 리더십 역량은 인문대학, 사회과학대학, 이공대학, 예술대학 학생들보다 높게 나타났으며, 예비기독교사의 의사소통 능력은 이공대학 학생들보다 높게 나타났다. 예비기독교사의 성별과 학년에 따른 감성지능, 의사소통능력과 리더십 역량 차이는 유의미하지 않은 것으 로 나타났다. 또한 사회봉사경험이 있는 예비기독교사는 사회봉사경험이 없 는 예비기독교사보다 의사소통능력과 리더십 역량이 높았으며, 실무경험이 있는 예비기독교사가 실무경험이 없는 예비기독교사보다 리더십 역량이 높 은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 예비기독교사의 감성지능, 의사소통능력 및 리더 십의 관계를 살펴보았을 때, 감성지능과 리더십 사이에 의사소통능력이 부 분매개하였다. 본 연구결과는 예비기독교사의 역량을 향상시키기 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze prospective Christian teacher’s emo- tional intelligence, communication ability and leadership ability. The subjects of this study were 109 Christian education department’s students and 1,893 stu- dents from other colleges. As a result, prospective Christian teacher’s emotional intelligence and leadership ability were higher than students of College of Humanities, College of Social Sciences, College of Science and Engineering, and College of Arts. In addition, prospective Christian teacher’s communication ability was higher than students of College of Science. The difference between emotional intelligence, communication ability and leadership ability according to gender and grade of prospective Christian teachers was not significant. A group of prospective Christian teachers with community service experience had significantly higher mean values of communication ability and leadership ability than a group of prospective Christian teachers without community service experience. A group of prospective Christian teachers with field experience had significantly higher mean values of leadership ability than a group of prospective Christian teachers without field experience. Also, communication ability mediated the relationship between emotional intelligence and leadership ability. The results of this study can be used as basic data to improve the capacity of prospective Christian teachers.
