이 연구는 현대 사회의 성혁명 현상을 성경적 관점에서 비판적으로 분석하고, 교회의 성경적 영혼 돌봄의 방향성을 논한다. 현대 사회의 성 혁명은 전통적인 성, 결혼, 가족제도에 도전하며 점차 확산되고 있는 문화이다. 성혁명은 전통적 성윤리의 해체를 목표로 성적 욕망의 정당성을 주장하고 이를 억압하는 윤리와 제도를 폐지해야 한다고 주장한다. 그 이면에는 인간을 성적 존재로 환원하는 신념이 있으며, 이는 가족 질서의 해체, 성별의 해체, 문화 및 교육의 성애화를 야기한다. 이에 대해 이 연구는 성경적 정체성의 회복, 하나님이 창조하신 몸의 질서 회복, 하나님이 다스리시는 가정 및 사회 문화 구축을 성경적 영혼돌봄의 방향으로 제시한다. 궁극적으로 이 연구는 성적 인간에 기초한 성혁명이 아닌, 성경적 진리에 기반한 그리스도 중심적인 거룩한 성개혁의 필요성을 역설한다.
Abstract
This study critically analyzes the phenomenon of the sexual revolution in modern society from a biblical perspective and discusses practical implications for biblical care of souls. The modern sexual revolution challenges traditional understandings of sex, marriage, and the family, and represents a rapidly expanding cultural movement. Advocates of the sexual revolution seek the deconstruction of traditional sexual ethics by asserting the legitimacy of sexual desire and calling for the abolition of ethics and institutions that repress it. Underlying this movement is the belief that human beings are fundamentally sexual beings—a reductionist view that leads to the breakdown of family order, the erasure of gender distinctions, and the cultural educational sexualization. In response, this study proposes biblical soul care in a way of restoring biblical identity, restoring the order of the body as God created it, and building God-governed families and societies. Ultimately, this study underscores the necessity of a Christ-centered holy reformation of sexuality grounded in biblical truth, rather than a revolution rooted in the ideology of sexualized humanity.
