산조춤의 창작 기반에 내재된 김백봉의 예술세계

Abstract

Among many art works created by Kim Paik Bong, who has contributed greatly and holds an important place in the history of Korean Modern Dancing, the <Sanjo Dance>was a piece which was created during the period when her dance world was flowering with maturity. Kim Paik Bong personally explains about this artwork as, "It is a song of the mind, and a whisper of the soul", and this is because it was an artwork that contains the artist's philosophy and ideals. Also, one of the major services that Kim Paik Bong has contributed to the history of dancing was that she has let the Korean Dancing to become an independent field of art by organizing the basic movements of Korean Dancing and by creating unique training methods and creating methods. These training methods and methodologies are well displayed in the <Sanjo Dance>, and this fact is supported by the definition that "this can be considered as displaying, without any omission, her dance world, in another words, an existing dictionary of Kim Paik Bong's dance language". This paper has studied fundamental stage of composition or the creation process view point of the <Kim Paik Bong Style Sanjo Dance :Chung Myung Shim Su> Therefore, then this reaties expects to get closer to the core of illuminating the dance historical meaning of Kim Paik Bong.
