검무의 미학적 특성과 가치

이 연구의 목적은 국민건강을 목적으로 하는 사회체육 산업이 발전하면서 사회체육의 소재로 무도 영역의 체육이 양적 증가를 보이고 있다. 무도의 하위문화인 검무의 미학적 특성에 대하여 연구하고 이에 따른 체육적 가치와 활용 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 우선 한국에서 혼용되는 검무와 검기무의 개념에 대해서 명확히 구분하고 정의를 하였다. 그리고 검무에 대한 특성과 가치는 미적 영역과 무도적 영역 그리고 사회체육 영역의 3가지 차원에서 다음과 같이 연구되었다. 첫째, 미적인 영역에서는 검무의 특성과 가치를 미적 측면과 통계적 측면 그리고 경험적 측면에서 접근하고 이해하고자 하였다. 미학적인 영역에서는 자체미로서의 칼, 신체미로서의 검무가, 동적미로서의 검술동작, 조화미로서의 도복(의상)이 1차적 주요 미적 요소로 설명되었고, 청각미로서의 음향, 효과미로서의 장애물, 조화미로서의 상대자(도우미)는 2차적 미적 요소로 설명되었다. 둘째, 무도 영역에서의 검무의 특성과 가치는 정신 수양으로서의 요인과 신체 단련으로서의 요인 그리고 기술추구로서의 요인에서 무도와 동질성을 찾을 수 있었다. 셋째, 사회체육 영역에서는 검무의 특성과 가치를 신체의 균형적인 수련과정과 유연한 운동 강도 그리고 다양함에서 효용성을 찾을 수 있었다. 위와 같은 검무의 요인들을 평가하는 기준은 창의성, 조화성, 기술성 등이 제시되었다. 검무의 미학적이고 본질적인 특성은 검무의 가치를 한층 높여주는 요인으로 작용하였다. 요인에 따른 평가 기준은 사회체육의 활용방안으로서 제시 될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide the effective value of martial sword dance and its applicable method as a material for leisure recreation in related with developing of the business of leisure recreation. First of all, it was clearly classified and defined the concepts on the martial sword dance and the sword dance that are mixed in Korea. And also the value of martial sword dance was studied in 3areas of aesthetics, martial arts and leisure recreation as follows, First, in aesthetics, it was approached and understood in 3 respects of aesthetics, statistics and experience for the value of martial sword dance. Additionally, it was explained the first main factors that were the sword as essence beauty, martial sword dance as body beauty fencing movement as dynamic beauty and taoist garb as accord beauty. For the secondary factors, it was explained acoustics as auditory beauty, obstacle as effect beauty and a partner as accord beauty as well. Second, in martial arts, it could be found martial arts and identitiesthe for value of martial sword dance in factors of mental training, body training and ability pursuit. Third, in leisure recreation, it could be found effective value for the value of martial sword dance in body-balanced training course, strength of flexible exercise and variety. The evaluable standards for above were creativity, accord and technique. Consequently, it was judged that the evaluable standards and aesthetic/essential characteristics of martial sword dance can be provided as an applicable method for leisure recreation.
