미학적 관점에서 보는 태권도 겨루기

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to elicit the results on aesthetic contents of Taekwondo Gyeorugi(compitition) from the aesthetic perspective. First of all, as for the development in aesthetic theory, it examined about the western․western perspective of aesthetics. And, Taekwondo Gyeorugi is the structure of actually confronting with the counterpart by applying techniques in attack and defense, which were learnt through training Taekwondo. In the middle of this structure, it is suggesting that the perfection in artistic beauty and the expertism in technical skill are emphasizing a human being's internally moral culture, by associating the contents in Gi(技) and Sul(術) with the process of making musical instrument called Geo(鐻), which was proposed in the volume of Jangja's Dalsaeng(達生), and with Gyeorugi match. Also, as for Budongsim(不動心), which has great influence upon victory and defeat in Gyeorugi situation, the excitement and excessive tension in the structure of confronting with the counterpart cannot display own ability as seen in the training process of Mokgye(木鷄). To overcome this situation, Budongsim(不動心) is important element in a tense situation. Taekwondo Gyeorugi match needs to be progressed in the restricted match place by the game rule, thereby requiring time and space. Through this, the contents related to victory and defeat were examined.
