이 연구는 2002한일월드컵과 2018평창동계올림픽에 집중하여 사회문화적 담론을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 2002한일월드컵과 2018평창동계올림픽의 사회문화적 담론은 대회이념에 기초하여 스포츠문화변동의 발현 관점에서 살펴보았다. 한국의 30여년 스포츠문화의 문화변동적 지도는 4개의 프레임, 즉 프레임 연결단계, 프레임 확대단계, 프레임 분화단계, 경쟁적 프레임 형성단계로 구성할 수 있다. 이러한 한국 스포츠문화변동의 프레임 분석틀에 의하면 2002한일월드컵은 프레임 분화단계로써 대중성이 확보되어 스포츠문화운동으로 프레임이 분화되는 단계이다. 이 단계의 담론을 기초하여 스포츠문화변동의 발현을 살펴보면 2002한일월드컵을 통해 스포츠 응원문화가 안정화되었고, 스포츠의 세계화가 가시화되었으며, 스포츠의 선진화가 시작되었다고 평가할 수 있다. 또한 2002한일월드컵은 한국사회의 패러다임 변화, 즉 산업화→민주화→선진화를 촉진시킨 사회동력으로 평가할 수 있다. 2018평창동계올림픽은 스포츠문화변동의 경쟁적 프레임 형성단계로써 스포츠선진화의 모멘텀이 형성되어 프레임 분화가 형식화 및 제도화의 경쟁적 프레임으로까지 확대되는 단계이다. 이 단계의 담론을 기초하여 스포츠문화의 변화가능성 관점에서 생각거리를 제시하면 스포츠의 주도성, 스포츠정의, 그리고 통일스포츠의 논의가 더욱 확장될 가능성을 확인하였다.
Abstract
This research is to analyze the socio-cultural discourse with the focus on 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup and 2018 Pyoungchang Winter Olympics. For this discourse, the viewpoint of manifestation in the changes to sport culture was reviewed on the ground of the ideology of the Olympics. Youngkap Kim(2007) has constructed the map of culture change to the sport culture for the last 30 years in Korea into 4 frames. 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup was a phase where a frame differentiation in the process of changes to sport culture led the publicity to be settled so that it could be a movement of sport culture. Based on the discourse of this phase, the manifestation of the changes to sport culture was reviewed, making it possible to appreciate that the culture of supporting in sports was stabilized, the globalization of sport was visible and the advancement of sports began. In addition, 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup can be understood as a social drive which accelerated the change to paradigm in Korean society from industrialization to democratization and further to advancement. 2018 Pyoungchang Winter Olympics, a phase of forming a competitive frame in the changes to sport culture, were formed into the momentum of the sport advancement so that the frame differentiation was expanded to the phase where the competitive frame in the changes to sport culture might be formalized and institutionalized. The study from the viewpoint of changeability to sport culture on the ground of the discourse of this phase has made it possible to confirm that the discussion on the sports of unified Korea be likely to be further expanded.
