오늘도 스포츠현장의 각종 사건 사고는 현재진행형이다. 이러한 문제들은 언론과 대중들에게 뜨거운 이슈로 대두되고 있다. 이는 스포츠계가 다양한 윤리적 문제로 병들어 있음을 드러내는 것이고, 오랜 시간 지속적으로 되풀이되고 있다는 것을 반증한다. 더욱이 새로운 문제들이 발생하고 해결보다 발생의 속도가 더 빠르게 나타나고 있다. 이는 가히 ‘스포츠계의 윤리적 공백’이라 할 상황이다. 스포츠계에서 새로이 발생하는 윤리적 문제들은 이론정립 중심의 스포츠윤리학 논의로는 적절한 윤리적 결론에 이르는데 어려움이 있다. 스포츠현장의 문제상황에 보다 구체적으로 접근할 수 있는 관점이 요구된다. 이러한 요구에 따라 등장한 것이 ‘응용윤리’ 혹은 ‘실천윤리’ 접근이다. 본 연구는 위와 같은 접근을 지지하면서 일반 응용윤리의 이론을 토대로 스포츠현장에서 발생하는 윤리적 문제에 새로운 시각으로 접근하고자 하였다. 먼저 사례를 통해 스포츠현장의 문제들을 적절히 해석할 수 있는 윤리적 관점과 관련 요건을 모색하였다. 그 결과 덕윤리, 배려윤리, 책임윤리 이외에 직업윤리, 경영윤리 등 다양한 측면의 윤리적 접근이 요구됨을 밝혔다. 또한 스포츠현장의 윤리적 문제 해결을 위한 방안을 탐색하였다. 스포츠계 관련 주체들에게 시급히 요구되는 것은 다양한 윤리적 문제에 대한 판단 및 해결 능력이다. 이를 위해 선행되어야 할 것이 윤리교육이다. 특히 윤리교육은 유아기때부터 부모로의 교육을 시작으로 ‘인간존중’이 기반이 되어야 하며, 지도자와 전문가를 통해 윤리에 대한 교육과 스포츠에서 발생 될 수 있는 다양한 문제에 대한 사례와 실천을 강조한 교육이 이루어져야 한다.
Abstract
Today, various incidents and accidents at sports sites are still ongoing. These problems have become hot issues for the media and the public. This reveals that the sports world is sick with various ethical problems, and it has been repeated from the past to the present. Moreover, new problems are occurring and the rate of occurrence is emerging faster than solving them. This is called an ethical vacuum in the sports world. New ethical issues in the sports world are difficult to reach appropriate ethical conclusions with discussions on sports ethics centered on theory-setting. A more specific approach to the problem situation in the sports field was required. What emerged according to these demands was an “application ethics” or “practice ethics” approach. In support of this approach, this study sought a new perspective on ethical issues arising from sports sites based on the discussion of general applied ethics. We first sought ethical perspectives and related requirements to properly interpret the problems in the sports field through examples. As a result, it was revealed that ethical approaches in various aspects, such as occupational ethics and management ethics are required in addition to virtue, caring ethics, and responsible ethics. It also explored ways to solve ethical problems in sports sites. What is urgently needed for those involved in sports is the ability to judge and solve various ethical problems. Ethical education should be preceded for this. In particular, ethics education should be based on "respect for human beings" starting with education from infancy to parents, and education should be provided through leaders and experts to emphasize examples and practices of various problems that can arise in sports.
