본 연구는 예비유아교사의 교직적성, 교사효능감, 소명의식, 사회적 지지의 인식과 관련성을 알아본 뒤 예비유아교사의 교직적성과 교사효능감의 관계에서 소명의식과 사회적 지지의 이중매개효과를 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 부산과 경남에 소재한 3, 4년제 대학의 유아교육과, 아동학과 320명을 대상으로 교직적성, 교사효능감, 소명의식, 사회적 지지를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS PROCESS Macro의 Model 6번을 이용하여 분석하였다. 첫째 예비유아교사의 교직적성, 교사효능감은 보통보다 높은 수준의 인식으로 나타났으며, 소명의식과 사회적 지지도 높은 수준이었다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 교직적성과 교사효능감, 소명의식 사회적 지지 간에는 모두 정적 상관관계로 나타났다. 셋째, 예비유아교사의 교직적성과 교사효능감 관계에서 소명의식과 사회적 지지는 이중매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 예비유아교사의 교사효능감을 높이기 위해서는 교직적성을 바탕으로 소명의식과 사회적 지지를 증진할 수 있는 다양한 방안이 필요함을 시사한다.
Abstract
This study investigates the relationship between pre-service early childhood teachers' teaching aptitude, teacher efficacy, sense of calling, and social support, and then examines the double mediating effect of sense of calling and social support in the relationship between pre-service early childhood teachers' teaching aptitude and teacher efficacy. The subjects of the study were 320 early childhood education students at 3- and 4-year universities located in Busan and Gyeongnam, and their teaching aptitude, teacher efficacy, sense of calling, and social support were measured. The collected data were analyzed using Model 6 of SPSS PROCESS Macro. First, the pre-service early childhood teachers' teaching aptitude and teacher efficacy were recognized at a higher level than average, and their sense of calling and social support were also at a high level. Second, a positive correlation was found between prospective early childhood teachers' teaching aptitude, teacher efficacy, sense of calling, and social support. Third, sense of calling and social support were found to have a double mediating effect in the relationship between teaching aptitude and teacher efficacy of prospective early childhood teachers. These results suggest that in order to increase the teacher efficacy of prospective early childhood teachers, various measures are needed to enhance their sense of calling and social support based on their teaching aptitude.
