Abstract
This essay is a prolegomena to a new horizon of the post-Barthian theologies in the era of techno-scientific civilization. The theology of Karl Barth has been estimated one of the most prominently influential one to the tradition of Christian theology since the theology of Thomas Aquinas. It‘s influences are also deemed to persist continually as highly instrumental feature for the subsequent generation of Christianity. However, the background of the theology of Barth was fundamentally the method of modernity, which does not cohere with the apparatuses of techno-scientific and postmodern interpretation of the newly emerging generation. Those interpretational schemes, which are drastically dissimilar from the ambiance of the time of Barth, will be a considerable challenge to the Christianity of the next generation. As a prolegomena suggestion to the challenge, this essay submits a thesis that the post-Barthian theologies should coexist with innovative familiarization of the scientific interpretations and postmodernism in the theological exercises for effective evangelism. Indeed, the direction of the post-Barthian theology should be advanced in the areas of meta-theology, meta-narrative theology, spiritual aesthetics, and theology of the embodied spirituality.
