신학에서의 미학적 경험의 수용의 양태와 그 비판적 고찰

현대의 다양한 신학적 시도 가운데 하나는 예술적 감흥에서 얻은경험을 신학적 지평과 연관시켜 신학적 언어의 활력을 되찾고자 하는것이다. 이 작업은 신학의 지나친 지성주의적 폐단을 극복하고 삶의 활력과 초월 신비를 신학적 언어가운데 가져옴으로써 기독교의 새로운면을 부각시키려는 의도를 가지고 있다. 이 작업은 소위 존재유비의 전통에서 찾아지는 존재의 초월적 선험적 구조를 신학적 계시의 전제로사용하는 것이다. 이를 통하여 그 미적 경험의 초월적 영역을 인간학적으로 확보함으로써 신학적 언어의 가능성을 확정짓고자 하는 것이다. 이러한 시도는 그렇지만 치명적인 한계를 갖고 있는 바 그 미학적 경험은 사실 유사 종교적 경험을 허락하지만 사실은 죄의 왜곡 현상으로부터 자유롭지 못하다는 것이다. 창조된 하나님의 아름다움을 여기에서경험할 수 있는 것은 사실 바르트의 견해처럼 하늘나라의 유비로서 계시를 통해서만 가능하다는 것이다. 더불어 한국의 개신교 신학자들은 나름대로의 예술신학을 하기 위해서는 계시신학에 근거한 보다 더 정교한 신학적 방법론이 필요한 것으로 평가된다.
Abstract
In recent days there are many theological suggestions that through the aesthetical experiences a way to seek the possibility of the knowledge of God can be attempted. These kind of aesthetical theology or theological Aesthetics has two assumptions that at first, the so-called analogia entis tradition is regarded as the right interpretation of the revelation of God, and at second, we are surrounded by the structure of beings the if we meet the unsayable God, then it means that we must realize that we are confronted with the structure of beings that we have nothing but to say this unsayableness. That means we are surrounded by the grace of unsayableness. So the question arise: can this fundamental aestheic experience express the christian view of God? This question leads us to the theology of Karl Barth. We believe that the aesthetical experience can be rightly appreciated when we follows the theological understanding of Karl Barth about this matters.
