혁신의 성과는 다양한 접근을 통해 분석되어야 하며, 이를 위해 재무성과 뿐만이 아닌 고용효과까지 확대하여 혁신인증 유형에 따른 중소기업의 고용효과를 비교․분석하였다. 분석 대상기업은 2016년~2020년 혁신인증을 유지한 중소기업이며, 고용효과는 상대적 고용효과인 매출액 고용계수와 절대적 고용효과인 고용증가율로 구분하여 사용하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 벤처인증 기업은 상대적 고용효과와 절대적 고용효과 모두 우위가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 이노비즈인증 기업과 메인비즈인증 기업의 경우 재무성과가 실질적인 고용으로 연계될 수 있도록 동조화(Coupling)의 관점에서 접근할 필요가 있으며, 기업의 생애주기(Life cycle)에 적합한 사업 안정화 단계에서의 차별화된 고용․지원 정책이 필요한 것으로 판단된다. 셋째, 혁신인증 유형에 따라 산업별 구성에 있어 일정부분 차이를 보이는 만큼 각 혁신인증 대상기업의 특성에 맞는 세밀한 지원정책이 요구된다.
Abstract
The performance of innovation should be analyzed through various approaches. For this purpose, not only the financial performance but also employment effectiveness were scrutinized. The employment effectiveness of SMEs according to the innovation certification type was compared and examined. The companies that were analyzed are SMEs that have maintained innovative certifications (venture certification, inno-biz certification and main-biz certification) in 2016- 2020, and employment effectiveness were used in the division of the sales-employment coefficient, which is a relative employment effect, and employment growth rate, which is an absolute employment effect. The analysis results are as follows. First, it was confirmed that venture- certified companies have an advantage in both relative and absolute employment effects. Second, in the case of inno-biz and main-biz certified companies, an approach from the perspective of coupling is needed so that financial performance can be linked to employment. In addition, differentiated employment and support policies are needed in the stabilization stage of businesses suitable for the life cycle of the SMEs. Third, as the innovation certification type shows a certain difference in the composition of each industry, a detailed support policy that meets the characteristics of each innovation certification is required.
