초록
This study explores how residents in Uncheon·Sinbong-dong and Uam-dong, Cheongju, perceive the outcomes of completed urban regeneration projects, with a focus on both overall effectiveness and commercial revitalization. Resident surveys were conducted and analyzed using frequency analysis, followed by an Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Expert opinions were also gathered through Focus Group Interviews and compared with residents’ perceptions. Residents perceived projects such as culture and arts streets and public facility developments as the most effective, reflecting strong community value and a need for continued support. Projects with lower levels of perceived impact still contributed to improved residential conditions and enhanced community engagement. While expert views were generally consistent with those of residents, differences emerged in the evaluation of certain projects. These findings highlight the importance of incorporating residents’ perceived experiences along with expert perspectives when evaluating the outcomes of urban regeneration. This approach provides practical insight for the planning and assessment of future regeneration initiatives targeting both community and commercial revitalization.
