영국 런던과학관 에너지 관련 전시물 사례분석

본 연구의 목적은 과학관의 전시물 중에서 에너지와 관련된 전시물이 어떤 유형으로 제시되어 있는지에 대한 분석이다. 이를 위해서 영국의 런던 과학관의‘에너지-미래를 채우는 곳’전시관의 전시물을 사례로 분석하였다. 런던 과학관의 에너지 관련 전시물은 정보를 제공하는데 그치지 않고 다양한 방식을 활용하고 있다. 여러 사람들과의 상호작용을 이용한 전시물, 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 이용한 전시물, 직접 몸으로 움직이면서 체험하는 전시물 등에 대하여 분석하였다. 추가적으로 에너지와 관련된 과학관에 대한 의견을 논의하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the exhibits related to energy. We specifically analyzed the exhibits of 'Energy-fuelling the future' displayed in the Science Museum, London. The exhibits of the museum were developed using various types including interaction, computer simulation, and hands-on activities. For implications to informal science education, we discussed how a science museum might be utilized for energy education.
