초록
The purposes of this paper are to suggest the methods of developing English curriculum for improving learners’ digital literacy, and to present assessing methods aligned with teaching methods focused on a weather chart. To achieve the purposes, the framework of the 2015 English Curriculum was analysed in terms of the digital literacy. The findings are as follows: (1) In the characters, information processing competence is closely connected to the digital literacy. (2) It is established that learners should improve the ability to become aware of information ethics and justify the value of information as well as a basic literacy of reading and writing information presented in English. (3) It is presented that various multimedia materials and ICTs should be harnessed to motivate students to get involved in learning activities with a great sense of accomplishment. (4) There are not any accomplishment standards and assessment methods related to digital literacy stated directly or indirectly. From the findings, it was suggested that accomplishment standards and assessment methods should be stated directly in the curriculum, and assessing methods aligned with teaching methods focused on a weather chart for improving learners’ communication skills need to be designed in terms of the digital literacy.
Abstract
The purposes of this paper are to suggest the methods of developing English curriculum for improving learners’ digital literacy, and to present assessing methods aligned with teaching methods focused on a weather chart. To achieve the purposes, the framework of the 2015 English Curriculum was analysed in terms of the digital literacy.
