본 연구는 무역을 위한 원조가 지속가능개발목표 달성에 어떻게 기여하는가를 파악하고 지속가능개발목표(SDGs)와 무역을 위한 원조(AfT) 간의 상호 연관성을 검토하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석결과 첫째, 포용적 성장 차원에서의 경제인프라투자, 생산기반구축, 무역역량구축과 관련된 무역을 위한 원조는 꾸준히 증가해 왔음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 성평등실현 및 여성을 위한 무역 원조는 증가해 왔을 뿐만 아니라 성평등 실현 및 여성을 주목적으로 실행된 무역을 위한 원조액이 상당히 증가해 왔음을 파악하였다. 마지막으로 녹색성장을 위한 무역을 위한 원조액도 지속적으로 증가해왔음을 확인하였다. 이를 기반으로 무역을 위한 원조가 지속가능개발 목표달성에 기여하며 상호 연결고리가 존재함을 파악하였다.
Abstract
Based on Lammerson and Hynes (2016), this study aims to identify how aid for trade contributes to the achievement of the SDGs and to examine the interlinkages between the SDGs and aid for trade. The analysis shows that aid for trade related to infrastructure investment, productive capacity building, and trade capacity building has steadily increased in the context of inclusive growth. Second, we find that aid for trade for gender equality and women has not only increased steadily, but that the amount of aid for trade implemented with a focus on gender equality and women has increased significantly. Finally, we found that aid for trade for green growth has also increased steadily. Based on these findings, we conclude that aid for trade contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and that there are interlinkages.
