예비사회복지사의 인권의식 잠재프로파일 분류 및 영향요인 검증

Classifying latent profiles in human rights consciousness of pre-service social workers and testing the effects of determinants

초록

본 연구는 대학에서 사회복지학을 전공하고 있는 예비사회복지사들이 인권의식의 구성요소인 인권판단력, 인권감수성, 인권행동의사의 수준에 따라 어떻게 경험적으로 유형화되는지 확인하고, 관련 영향요인을 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 인권의식 발달 관련 이론 및 선행연구에 기초하여 연구모형을 설정하고, 한국사회복지대학교육협의회 단체회원교에 재학중인 사회복지학과 3학년생 927명의 설문조사자료를 활용하여 연구문제를 분석하였다. 잠재프로파일 분석 결과 예비사회복지사들은 인권의식은‘고수준집단(15.3%)’, ‘평균집단(56.7%)’, ‘저수준집단(27.9%)’ 의 세 집단으로 유형화되었다. 예비사회복지사들의 인권의식 잠재프로파일 분류 영향요인을 규명하기 위한 다변량 다항로지스틱 회귀분석 결과, 높은 수준의 사회복지전공인권노출, 인권활동참여경험, 인지적정서적 공감능력, 자기조절효능감과 과제난이도 선호성향은 예비사회복지사들을 높은 수준의 인권의식을 가진 ‘고수준집단’에 귀속시킬 가능성을 증가시켰다. 또한 인지적정서적 공감능력, 자기조절효능감은 인권의식‘평균집단’과 ‘저수준집단’을 유의미하게 구별하는 요인이었다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 예비사회복지사를 위한 인권교육방안을 논의하였다.

Abstract

This study aims to classify latent profiles in human rights consciousness of pre-service social workers and to examine factors associated with profiles. Based on the related theories on human rights development and literatures on human right educations, a research model was specified. The population of the study is junior students in the member schools of the Korean Council on Social Welfare Education, and a data from 927 respondents was used for the final analyses. Latent profile analyses were performed to empirically classify pre-service social workers into subgroups based on the indicators of human rights judgement, human rights sensitivity, and human rights behavioral intention. According to the analyses, pre-service social workers were classified into three latent groups: ‘high level group(15.3%)’, ‘average level group(56.7%)’, and ‘low level group(27.9%)’. The results from multivariate multinomial logistic regression analyses revealed that high levels of social work human rights exposure, human rights participatory activities, perspective taking, emotional concerns, self-regulatory efficacy and task difficulty preferences significantly increased the probability of being in the ‘high level group’. Also, high levels of perspective taking, emotional concerns, and self-regulatory efficacy increased likelihood of membership in the ‘average group’ instead of ‘low level group’. Based on the study findings, practical implications for the human rights educations for pre-service social workers were discussed.
