냉전 이후, 세계화, 정보화 추세에 따른 새로운 국제 안보환경의 형성은 개별 국가마다 이에 대처하는 안보정책의 조정을 불가피하게 하고 있다. 중국 또한 달라진 국제환경에 따라 새로운 안보구상을 제시해 왔고, 대외적 활동에서 그 내용을 구체화해왔다. 중국의 부상은 이미 기정사실화되고 있고, 국제사회에서 중국의 책임 있는 역할이주문되고 있다. 중국이 어떠한 안보정책을 수립할 것인지에 대해서는 국제사회의 주요 관심 사안이 아닐 수 없다. 따라서 본 연구는 변화된 중국의 안보정책의 구체적 내용과 이러한 안보인식에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인들을 검토해 보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 또한 새롭게 수립된 중국의 안보정책이 궁극적으로 추구하고 있는 목적과 국제사회에 갖는 함의를 검토해 보는 것은 미래의 국제 안보환경과 국제질서 변화를 예측하는 데 있어 필수적인 부분이기도 하다.
Abstract
Since ithe Cold War, due to the formation of new international security environment, which is caused by globalization and spread of information technology,the modification of each country's security policy has been inevitable. China also has introduced to a new security concept, and it has developed into a concrete shape in the context of her foreign affairs. Beside, China's rise already has been accepted as a fact in the international society. Also, China's responsible role in the international society has become important. So, what kind of security policy China will establish is one of the most important international issues. Accordingly, the purpose of this paper is to review the major contents of China's changed security policy and its major causes and goals. Then, this paper will suggest policy implications for Korea.
