정신장애인의 회복지원을 위한 글쓰기 경험에 관한 사례연구

본 연구는 정신장애인의 회복지원을 위한 글쓰기 프로그램에 참여한 연구참여자의 경험과 의미를 알아보기 위해 질적 사례연구방법으로 분석하였다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위해 정신장애인 6명을 대상으로 개별심층인터뷰를 진행하였고, 연구참여자들의 글쓰기 프로그램의 경험과 의미의 진술을 분석하였다. 연구참여자들의 진술을 분석한 결과 29개의 하위범주와 ‘회복이라는 힘’, ‘글을 통한 공감대 형성’, ‘병을 삶의 일부로 받아들임-지금 그대로의 모습에 행복을 느낌’,‘주변으로부터 지지를 받음’, ‘새로운 삶에 대한 동기부여’, ‘누군가에게 희망이 되는 사람’으로 6개의 상위범주가 도출되었다. 정신장애인의 경험적 진술을 바탕으로 작가로서의 사회적 역할을 수행하기 위한 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study is a qualitative case research that was designed to examine the meaning of participatory experience in a writing program for support to the recovery of the mentally disabled. For the examination, this study made profound one-on-one interviews with 6 mentally disabled people. And then, the study analyzed statements from the six participants about the meaning of experiencing the writing program as above mentioned. Through the analysis, this study could group the statements into 29 sub-categories that were in turn regrouped into 6 main categories like ‘being energized to recover’, ‘forming a rapport with others by means of writing’, ‘accepting my disease as a part of life- feeling happy about what I am’,‘getting support from people around’, ‘being motivated to live a new life’ and ‘developing myself into a person who give hope to someone’ Based on these results of the analysis, finally, this study made practical and policy suggestions for helping the mentally disabled perform social roles through writing.
