아버지 애착과 지지가 대학생의 진로탐색 자기효능감과 진로탐색행동에 미치는 영향

본 연구에서는 대학생을 대상으로 아버지의 애착과 지지가 진로탐색 행동과 진로탐색 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 서울, 경기, 충청도에 소재하는 4개 대학교에 재학 중인 대학생 347명의 자료를 구조방정식 모형으로 검증하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 아버지 지지는 아버지 애착에 높은 수준의 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 아버지 애착은 진로탐색 자기효능감에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 진로탐색 자기효능감은 진로탐색 행동에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 아버지 지지는 대학생 자녀의 진로탐색 행동에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이 결과를 종합해 보면, 아버지 지지는 아버지와의 애착 수준에 긍정적인 영향을 미침으로서 간접적으로 진로탐색 자기효능감 수준을 향상시킨다. 아버지 애착은 진로탐색 자기효능감에 긍정적인 영향을 미침으로서 간접적으로 진로탐색 행동 수준을 높여 준다. 또한 아버지 지지는 아버지와의 애착이나 진로탐색 자기효능감의 경로를 통하지 않고도 진로탐색 행동에 직접적으로 긍정적인 영향을 미친다고 할 수 있다. 마지막으로 본 연구 결과의 의미를 논의하였고, 제한점과 후속 연구 방향을 제안하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the effects of the father's attachment and support on college students' career search self-efficacy and career search behavior, which are important variable in the career development of the adolescents. For this, it was analyzed that if the father's attachment and support has direct effects on the career search self-efficacy and the career search behavior. With 347 college and college students in Seoul, Kyungkido, and Choongchungdo, the following inventories were carried out: Career Search Behavior Scale, Career Search Self-Efficacy Scale, the Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment-Revised, and Interpersional Support Evaluation List. As for the result of the Structural Equation Model Analysis, a father’s attachment directly influenced on the career search self-efficacy and indirectly influenced on the career search behavior. A father’s support has direct influence on a father's attachment and the career search behavior. However, a father’s support has no direct influence on the career search self-efficacy. These results mean that when a father supports his children, they develope strong and positive attachment and do more active career search behavior. The positive attachment to his/her father would strengthen the career search self- efficacy. The result of this study has its meaning that the counsellor's understanding the client through active and positive communication itself can help developing the client’s career searching behavior and career searching self-efficacy.
