부모 애착이 남녀 대학생의 정신건강에 미치는 영향: 심리적 독립과 이성관계태도의 매개 경로 분석

본 연구는 부모 애착이 정신건강에 미치는 영향에서 심리적 독립과 이성관계태도가 매개할 것이라는 연구모형을 설정하고, 잠재변수의 성별 집단간 차이, 성별에 따른 구조 경로계수 차이 및 매개효과 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 대학생 365명을 대상으로 애착, 정신건강, 심리적 독립, 이성관계태도를 측정하는 척도에 응답하게 하였으며, 구조방정식모형을 적용한 잠재평균분석, 다집단 분석과 매개효과 검증을 위해 Sobel test를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 부애착과 심리적 독립이 정신건강문제에 부적영향을, 모애착이 심리적 독립에 정적영향을, 심리적 독립이 이성관계태도와 정신건강문제에 부적영향을 미쳤고, 부, 모애착간에 정적상관이 있었다. 또 심리적 독립은 모애착과 정신건강간의 관계 및 모애착과 이성관계태도간의 관계에서 완전 매개효과를, 이성관계태도는 심리적 독립과 정신건강간의 관계에서 부분 매개효과를 보였다. 둘째, 잠재평균분석 결과 남학생이 여학생 보다 모애착, 심리적 독립은 더 높고, 이성관계태도, 정신건강은 더 낮았다. 셋째, 다집단분석 결과 남학생 집단에서는 모애착이 심리적 독립에는 정적영향, 이성관계태도에는 부적영향을, 여학생 집단에서는 부애착이 정신건강문제에 부적영향을 나타냈다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 대학생 정신건강수준을 향상시키기 위한 시사점과 후속연구에 대한 제언을 논하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of the present study was to examine the structural causal relationships among parental attachment, psychological separation, risk in intimacy and mental health through Structural Equation Modeling, latent means analysis, multi group analysis and also to investigate how these effects were influenced by the differences in the structural relationships between male and female college students. The results showed that farther attachment and psychological separation negative effect on mental health, mother attachment positive effect on psychological separation, psychological separation had a negative effect on the risk in intimacy and mental health. In addition, Psychological separation fully mediated the relationships between mother attachment and mental health, risk in intimacy and risk in intimacy partially mediated the relationship between psychological separation and mental health. Second, according the Latent means analysis where female students are used as the reference group, male students group showed higher latent mean values on the mother attachment and psychological separation, and lower latent mean values on the dating relationship and mental health. Finally, results of multi-group analysis, mother attachment had a positive effect on psychological separation, and negative effect on dating relationship the only in a male group. father attachment had a negative effect on mental health the only in a family group. The implications and limitations of this study were discussed, and the suggestions for further studies were recommended.
