독자성과 융화성 수준에 따른 잠재집단의 심리적 특성

초록

이 연구는 독자성과 융화성 그리고 경직된 독자성과 경직된 융화성의 조합에 따라 어떠한 잠재집단이 있는지를 탐색하고, 잠재집단이 가지는 심리적 특성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 수도권, 대구경북 및 부산 지역 성인초기와 중년기에 해당하는 일반성인 510명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였고, 잠재프로파일 분석을 사용하여 잠재집단을 탐색하였다. 독자성, 융화성, 경직된 독자성, 경직된 융화성 수준 조합에 따라 총 5개의 잠재집단으로 분류되었는데, ‘대인의존형’ 집단, ‘관계갈등형’ 집단, ‘대인친화형’ 집단, ‘자기중심형’ 집단, ‘관계균형형’ 집단으로 명명하였다. 잠재집단에 따라 외로움, 삶의 만족도, 영적 안녕감, 중용에서 차이가 있는지를 살펴보기 위해 다변량 분산분석(MANOVA)을 실시한 결과, 잠재집단별로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. ‘대인의존형’ 집단과 ‘관계갈등형’ 집단보다 ‘대인친화형’ 집단, ‘자기중심형’ 집단, ‘관계균형형’ 집단이 전반적으로 적응적이었다. 또한 집단 분류에 영향을 미친 인구통계학적 특성을 살피기 위하여 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, ‘관계균형형’ 집단을 기준으로 하였을 때 여성이거나 종교가 있으면 ‘대인의존형’ 집단, 남성이거나 종교가 없으면 ‘자기중심형’ 집단에 속할 확률이 높았다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 성인상담에서 독자성,융화성, 경직된 독자성과 경직된 융화성 수준에 기반한 사례개념화와 상담전략에 대해 논의하였고, 추후 연구에 대한 함의를 기술하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore latent classes in adults in terms of agency, communion, unmitigated agency and unmitigated communion and psychological characteristic among latent classes. 510 male and female adults in Metropolitan area, Daegu and Gyeongsang province and Busan were surveyed and analyzed by Latent Profile Analysis. The participants were divided into 5 latent classes such as; ‘Interpersonal dependence’, ‘Relationship conflict’, ‘Interpersonal affinity’, ‘Self-focused’, and ‘Relationship balanced’. According to the results of MANOVA analysis to figure out if there are differences in loneliness, life satisfaction, spiritual well-being and zhongyong depending on latent classes, significant differences were appeared among latent classes. The type of ‘Interpersonal affinity’, type of ‘Self-focused’ and type of ‘Relationship balanced’ were more adaptive in psychological characteristic than. The types of ‘Interpersonal dependence’ and ‘Relationship conflict’ Multinominal Logistic Regression Analysis results showed that gender and religion had significant effects on the classification of these groups. In other words based on the type of 'Relationship balanced', if participants were female or religious, they were more likely to belong to the type of ‘Interpersonal dependence’ and if male or not religious, they were more likely to be the type of ‘Self-focused’. On the basis of the results of this study, the implications on the case conceptualization and counseling strategy for adults focusing on agency, communion, unmitigated agency and unmitigated communion in adults and future research were discussed.
