결혼이주여성 여가연구의 비판적 고찰

본 논문은 국내 결혼이주여성의 여가에 대한 연구이다. 결혼이주여성이 사회에서 차지하는 비중이 증가함에 따라 결혼이주여성을 대상으로 하는 연구가 늘어나고 있는 이때에 그간의 연구를 점검하고, 향후 연구의 방향을 설정하는 것을 목표로 진행하였다. 분석에는 2010년 이후, 관광분야의 전문 학술지에 실린 결혼이주여성의 여가관련 논문이 사용되었다. 정량적인 방식의 내용연구와 달리 본 연구에서는 주요 이슈를 중심으로 선행연구의 발견점과 한계를 고찰하고, 이를 바탕으로 주요 쟁점별로 제언을 제시하는 형태로 구성하였다. 선행연구의 발견과 한계는 ‘여가활동 참여의 효용’과 ‘ 여가 활동의 참여’로 나누어 정리하였고, 주요 쟁점별 제언은 ‘연구의 가치지향점,’ ‘이론화를 통한 현상의 체계적 이해,’ ‘연구 접근방식의 다양화’ 등으로 나누어 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 쟁점별 제언은 법칙정립적 정량연구에서 다루기 어려운, 개별 연구에 대한 심도 있는 분석을 통해 개별 연구들 간의 관계를 보다 면밀하게 분석하여 유형화하는 과정에서 많은 시사점들을 도출할 수 있었다. 결혼이주여성 연구의 지향점부터 구체적인 조사방법에 이르기까지 본 연구를 통해 제시된 제언들은 후속 연구뿐만 아니라 실무적 다문화 정책 수립에 많은 기여를 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
This study explored the leisure of marriage migrant women in Korea. As the proportion of marriage immigrant women in society increases, researches of marriage migrant women’s leisure are increasing. For the analysis, papers on leisure of marriage migrant women published in specialized journals in the tourism field after 2010 were used. Unlike the previous quantitative based content analysis, this study reviewed the studies, identified the critical issues, and drew the limitations of the studies. The findings and limitations were divided into two sections of 'utility of participation in leisure activities' and 'participation in leisure activities'. Suggestions based on the findings and limitations included issues of ‘value orientation of research,‘ 'systematic understanding of phenomena through theorization,''research diversification of the approach’ and so on. The suggestions presented in this study were difficult to deal with in nomothetic studies, and through in-depth analysis of individual studies, we were able to derive many implications in the process of analyzing relationships between individual studies more closely and categorizing them. The outcomes of this study are expected to contribute not only to subsequent researches, but also to establish actual multi-cultural policies.
