본 연구의 목적은 아동기 외상과 우울의 관계에서 정서조절곤란과 대인관계 문제의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 전국의 성인 400명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시했다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아동기 외상과 우울의 관계에서 정서조절곤란은 매개효과가 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 아동기 외상과 우울의 관계에서 대인관계 문제는 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 아동기 외상과 우울의 관계에서 정서조절곤란과 대인관계 문제가 순차적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 아동기 외상이 우울을 유발하는 과정은 단순한 인과적 경로가 아니라, 정서처리와 대인기능의 손상 누적이라는 복합적 기제를 통해 이루어진다는 것을 확인했다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과를 토대로 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의했다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating effect of emotional dysregulation and interpersonal problems in the relationship between childhood trauma and depression. To this end, a survey was conducted on 400 adults nationwide. The results of this study are as follows. First, emotional dysregulation did not have a significant mediating effect in the relationship between childhood trauma and depression. Second, interpersonal problems were found to have a partial mediating effect in the relationship between childhood trauma and depression. Third, emotional dysregulation and interpersonal problems were found to sequentially mediate the relationship between childhood trauma and depression. Through this, it was confirmed that the process through which childhood trauma causes depression is not a simple causal path, but rather a complex mechanism of accumulated damage to emotional processing and interpersonal function. Finally, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed based on the results.
