Abstract

Recently turbulent and complicated managing environment demands a kind of talent different from those of the past. An affluent amount of corporations place its utmost value on securing workforce with the potential to pave way for future growths but takes it difficult to excavate them. With the future managing environment being in a different level and in demand of a different value, the learning agility is likely to be a prime requisite as an ability to learn from experience and provide countermeasure in spite of the rapid change of paradigms. Throughout the time after Lombardo & Eichinger(2000) established the definition of learning agility, limited research have taken place by the means of utilizing commercialized measuring tools mostly in America while academic and practical discussions about the topic were infrequent in Korea. Therefore this study has placed a firm foundation on the definition and associating the research process of verifying the validity and credibility. First, this study defined learning agility’s factors supported by reviewing of previous studies. Second, factors of learning agility were developed based on the result of reviewing and were revised through the content-related verification. Third, to prove the validity and credibility of the measurement, a survey 289 company employees has been made. Through the accommodated data, the study performed an analysis on factors and credibility. The findings confirmed that domains of learning agility were consisted of self-awareness, growth-oriented, flexible thinking, reflective behavior seeking, behavioral change was set of 22 questionnaires.
