덴마크의 철학자요 신학자인 키에르케고어는 기독교 안에서 자신이 살고 죽을 진리를 발견한다. 그의 짧은 인생의 마지막 해에 폭발적으로 분출하는 기독교세계에 대한 직접적인 공격이 사실상 키에르케고어의 삶과 사상에 일관되는 종착점임을 규명하는 것이 이 논문의 목적이다. 이를 통해 키에르케고어 말뭉치를 읽는 쉽고도 유용한독법을 제시하고자 한다. 그것은 기독교와 기독교세계 공격과의 연관성 안에서 키에르케고어 저작들을 읽는 것이다. 키에르케고어는 자기시대와 그 이후 세대에게 기독교적인 정직함을 온몸으로 보여준다. 그의 삶은 기독교인이 된다는 것은 무엇을 의미하는가를 일평생 추구하는 과정이다. 키에르케고어에게 외톨이(the single individual)가 된다는 것은 가장 진실하게 자기 자신을 하나님과 관계 맺는다는 것이다. 그에게 있어서 외톨이는 기독교세계의 문제를 극복하는 유일한 해결책이다. 마르크스의 기독교 비판이 물질적 하부 구조의 분석을 통한 사회과학적 비판이라면, 키에르케고어의 기독교세계 공격은 기독교의진리를 철저히 딛고 서서 현실 기독교세계의 위선을 폭파시키면서 그 대안으로 외톨이를 주장한다. 키에르케고어가 기독교세계 공격을 통해 폭로하는 당시의 상황은 오늘날 한국의 기독교 현실에 시사하는 바가 크다고 하겠다.
Abstract
Kierkegaard, the philosopher and theologian of Denmark found his own truth in Christianity. The aim of this paper is to explain that his attack upon Christendom in the last year of his life is the last stop of his life and consistent thoughts. Kierkegaard showed the Christianomical exhaustiveness to only his generation but after it with every fiber of his body. His whole life was a process that he had sought the true meaning of the Christian. He described that the anxiety and despair which we have are the right evidences that we should find the ground of being in God. Freedom of human self is historical, which must be actualized in time. when human being is not willing to despair and want to attain whole self, existence of human self is transcendental in that human self must be grounded itself to God. According to Kierkegaard to become the single individual is to become a whole and unified self before God. He looked straightly that the Christianity of the day was under the enormous chaos and illusion, he observered such circumstances at the view point of the Christianity of the New Testament; he argued that the Christianity of the New Testament guides people to the poverty and soullessness. On the contrary, he criticized that the Christianity, which Danish State Church preaches, puts concern only on a stable life aiming at the preferable job, social honor, etc. I suggested that reading Kierkegaardian corpus on the viewpoint of Christianity and attack upon Christendom is an easy and useful method of reading Kierkegaard.
