이 글의 주목적은 들뢰즈의 차이의 철학이 선반성적 의식의 본질에 대한 현상학적 통찰에 기초해 있음을 밝히는 것이다. 이 글의 논증은다음과 같이 요약될 수 있다. 1. 들뢰즈 철학의 핵심적 관점, 즉 의식이란 그 시원적 상태에서는 초월적존재자로서의 순수한 나를 전제하지 않는 전-개인적, 비인격적 의식으로서 파악되어야 한다는 것은 들뢰즈의 J.-P. 사르트르 및 S. 마이몬 연구로부터 비롯된 것이다. 2. 초월적 존재자로서의 순수한 나를 전제하지 않는 전-개인적, 비인격적의식의 개념이 후설의 현상학과 꼭 모순되는 것은 아니다. 후설의 『논리 연구』가 그 증거이다. 후설은 『논리 연구』에서 신칸트학파에 의해제기된 순수한 나의 이념은 의식적 삶의 현상학적 탐구에 불필요하다고주장하는 것이다. 3. 들뢰즈의 순수한 내재성의 개념은 지각 현상학에 토대를 둘 수밖에 없다. 순수한 내재성은 한편 초월적 존재자의 현상학적 환원을, 다른 한편지각에 의해 전-개인적, 비인격적 의식이 구성됨을 전제하는 것이다.
Abstract
The main purpose of this paper is to demonstrate that G. Deleuze’s philosophy ofpure difference is based upon phenomenological insights into the nature of pre-reflectiveconsciousness. My arguments can be summarized as follows:1. Deleuze learned the essential viewpoint of his philosophy that consciousness inits primordial state is to be understood as a pre-individual, impersonal consciousnesswithout any transcendent being of pure I from his study of J.-P. Sartre and S. Maimon. 2. The notion of pre-individual, impersonal consciousness without any transcendentbeing of pure I is not necessarily at odds with Husserl’s phenomenology. Husserl’sphenomenology of Logical Investigations is a proof of it. Husserl maintains in LogicalInvestigations that the neo-Kantian Idea of pure I is not necessary for phenomenologicalresearches of our conscious life. 3. Deleuze’s concept of pure immanence should be founded on the phenomenologyof perception: The pure immanence presupposes the phenomenological reduction oftranscendent beings on the one hand, and the constituion of pre-individual, impersonalconsciousness by perceptions on the other hand.
