이 논문은 불트만과 일본의 니시다니(西谷啓治)의 존재, 불안, 죽음 무(無)개념 등과 논쟁 가운데서 하이데거의 존재론적 사고를 파악하고자 한다. 이 논의 과정에서 신을 말해야 하는 신학자와 어디까지나 사유의 문제로 귀결시키는 하이데거 사이의 친화성과 이질성이 드러날 것이며, 하이데거의 무(無)개념은 대승불교 전통의 무(無)개념과의 차이도 비판적으로 고찰하게 될 것이다. 이러한 차이에도 불구하고, 이 세 사고의 지평은 실체적 형이상학의 극복이라고 하는 궁극적 지향점에서 만날 수 있다. 이 관점에서 볼 때 세 사고의 지평은 더 심층적인 대화를 할 수 있을 것이다. 특별히 세 사고의 지평은 근대적 형이상학적 세계관과 생태 위기가 밀접한 연관이 있다고 보는 심층 생태론의 관점과도 자연스럽게 연결된다.
Abstract
This paper aims to grasp Heidegger’s ontological thought in the midst of the debates between Bultmann and Nishitani about being, anxiety, and the concept of death and nothingness. In the process of this discussion, the affinity and heterogeneity between the theologian, who must speak of God, and Heidegger, whose argument ultimately leads to the problem of thought, will be revealed. Heidegger’s concept of nothingness will also be critically differentiated from the concept of nothingness in the tradition of Mahayana Buddhism. Despite these differences, these three horizons of thought can meet at the ultimate goal of overcoming substantial metaphysics. From this point of view, the three horizons of thought will be able to engage in more in-depth dialogue. In particular, the horizons of the three thoughts are naturally connected to the perspective of deep ecology, which sees that the modern metaphysical worldview and ecological crisis are closely related.
