The ideas of Baekje people are manifested in the Gilt-bronze incense burner. This study aims to investigate the characteristics of the costume of Musicians, expressed in the Gilt-Bronze Incense Burner of Baekje and differentiated from Chinese costume. This study puts the meaning in attempting new interpretation of the Gilt-Bronze Incense Burner of Baekje by elucidating the uniqueness of Baekje costumes, expressed in the Gilt-Bronze Incense Burner of Baekje. At first glance, five musicians seem to have their hair cut on the top of the head, and their back hair is rolled up with long plaited hair on the right side of the ear. They appear to comb their hair back rather than shaving their head. This allows us to presume that musicians are women. In terms of the line decoration in upper clothes and jacket, five musicians seem to belong to the aristocratic class, and their heads are decorated with other style without wearing official uniform in view of special situation of playing musical instruments. Baekje costumes expressed all of these lines with a straight line. This characteristic of Baekje costumes is differentiated from Chinese costumes. It is judged that the expression of the straight line in all parts of Jeogori, trousers, skirt, the collar of robe, trimming, the strip of cloth along the sleeve-seam, and leg hems reflects the upright character of the people of Beakje through the costume.
