Abstract

【Abstract】 China Anti-Dumping Institution and Their WTO Consistency Jong Woo Kim Korea ranked the second in the world for receiving anti-dumping charges last year following China. Anti Dumping is the one of the issues in Korea. Nowadays, China becomes the largest trade country, therefore, this situation will generate a number of China-Korea trade disputes and restrictions. However they are not serious problems, now. The objective of this study is to analyze anti-dumping issues of China-Korea trade and economic effect of anti-dumping. First, I compare rules of anti-dumping in Korea with them in China, so this study inquires what difference each other is and How rate of dumping determines. In result, when China determines a normal price and begins anti-dumping research, there are equivocal words in their process so they can determine anti-dumping charges themselves not through WTO anti-dumping rules. Second, I impose what problems of our process is. Korean Trade Commission must concern effects of Korea's macroeconomic factors that affect a price of the good and analysis actual effects of dumping through an econometric model. Third, I set up equations of import structure about eight goods that Korean Trade Commission collects customs. If foreign countries dump the goods in our market, amount of import in Korea become larger. In conclusion, we must research the rules of China's anti-dumping and must present more objective and perfect reasons when we determine the anti-dumping charges.
