텍스트 마이닝을 통한 ‘한국무용연구’의 연구경향 분석

Abstract

This study is aimed to explore the research trends of journals from the analytic viewpoint in order to examine the academic achievements of ‘the Society of Dance Studies’ for the last 40 years. To address the goal, first of all, this researcher investigated the status of dance societies and the status of academic activities carried out by the Society of Dance Studies and also applied text mining to explore the research trends of journals published by ‘the Journal of Korean Dance’. According to the findings, first, although the National Research Foundation of Korea demands the integration of societies, societies specialized in dance have increased slightly. Second, the activities previously done by the Society of Dance Studies were held within the context like the topics of educational activities, for instance, the summer dance school. Third, journals published by ‘the Journal of Korean Dance’ tend to use the term, ‘dance’, more than ‘chum’ academically. Fourth, before 2010, research on the playfulness of dance found in the masque was often carried out whereas after 2010, research on dance targeting those majoring in dance was frequently done. Fifth, concerning the research topics of entire journals, in the area of dance education, too, they have been classified into ‘education on dance art as performing culture’, ‘the characteristics of Korean dance education’, and ‘the structure and plans of development(enhancement) for dance art education’.
