Abstract

Chinese civilization represents one of the earliest civilizations in the world. China's politics, economy and culture had occupied an important position in the world for quite a long historical period, in particular, they had a very obvious impact on neighboring countries. China's advanced porcelain making technology and artistic style make porcelain an indispensable part of China's communication with foreign countries. And the imitation of Chinese porcelain by neighboring countries is also very common. It is generally accepted that Koryo celadon and Korean white porcelain are influenced by Chinese celadon and white porcelain, while differences exist in the relationship between the Cizhou kiln and Buncheong wares. The decorative techniques and artistic features of the two kinds of wares are very similar. And the two wares are of the same nature of folk kilns, their background causes are also basically similar. However, the appearance of buncheong wares were several hundred years later than that of the Cizhou kiln ware. In the process of communication between China and South Korean in the hundreds of years, that a lot of Cizhou kiln wares flowed to South Korea through various forms is bound to have a certain influence on the appearance and development of buncheong wares in Korean. However, it is not scientific to simply say that buncheong wares inherited the artistic style of Cizhou kiln or completely deny the influence of Cizhou kiln on buncheong wares, but only to say the degree of this influence.
