『뎡미가례시일긔』의 음운론적 특징

Abstract

In this paper, I tried to study the phonological characteristics of Dyeongmi garyeshi ilgui, ‘뎡미가례시일긔’, Hangeul (the Korean writing system) version, Chinese version that has several Korean words had been written in Hangeul, Jyeongmi garyeshi ilgui, ‘졍미가례시일긔’ and another Hangeul version, to figure out the relationships and historical status of the Korean language used in each literatures. The overall phonological phenomena of the Dyeongmi garyeshi ilgui shows the Korean in early King Yeongjo's ‘영조’ reign, but displays some of the phonological phenomena happened in late 18 th century, like as the change of [ʌ] to [a]. with these phonological characteristics, I concluded that the languages of this literature was based on the 18 th century’s Korean and added a little bit of some late 18 th century’s Korean. The Chinese version of the Dyeongmi garyeshi ilguii regarded as same literatures of Hangeul version, the Dyeongmi garyeshi ilguii, because the formation and the table of contents, the order of the items described are same as Dyeongmi garyeshi ilgui. However, with regard to the hypercorrection of palatalization, the change of [ʌ] to [a] etc. I concluded that this version is the literature of the early 19 th century, possibly late 19 th century. The Jyeongmi GaryeShi Ilgui that is different in formation and the order of items described to the Dyeongmi garyeshi ilgui or the Chinese version. I conclude this Jyeongmi GaryeShi Ilgui can be seen as a book of just after the middle of 19 th century, possibly before and after 1880, with regard to the phonological changes such as palatalization, the change the unrounded vowel to the rounded vowel, the change of [ʌ] to [a], the change of [ɨ] to [ə], umlaut phenomena, the change of [ɨ] following [ʧ], [ʧh ] to [i], and the change of [i] to [ɨ] etc.
