『뎡미가례시일긔(丁未嘉禮時日記)』의 書誌的 考察

『뎡미가례시일긔』는 丁未年(1847년, 憲宗13)에 치러진 憲宗의 후궁 慶嬪金氏의 嘉禮와 관련하여 그 嘉禮 節次와 需用 物目 등을 한글로 수록한 筆寫本이다. 이 책은 가례의 절차 및 그에 따른 소요 품목, 궁녀들의 역할 분담 등을 자세히 다루고 있어 궁중 풍속 연구에 중요한 자료일 뿐 아니라, 각종 物目의 한글 명칭이 유려한 宮體로 나타나 국어 어휘사 및 한글 서체 연구에 귀중한 자료가 된다. 그동안 장서각 소장의 왕실 자료로서 궁중 문화와 관련된 각종 전시에 자주 등장하다가 2002년에는 (필사본으로서는 드물게) 문화관광부 선정 ‘100대 한글문화유산’의 하나에 포함되기도 하였다. 그러나 자료적 가치에 비하여 『뎡미가례시일긔』에 대한 서지적 고찰은 크게 미흡하였다. 이미『뎡미가례시일긔』와 내용이 동일한 한문본(두루마리, 규장각 소장)의 존재가 소개되었고, 수록 체재가 다른 異本 『뎡미가례시일긔』(6책, 장서각 소장)의 존재도 언급되었지만, 이들 세 문헌의 공통점과 차이점이 면밀하게 대비되고 그 상호 관계가 본격적으로 논의되지는 못하였다. 이에 본고에서는 『뎡미가례시일긔』와 관련하여 현재까지 알려진 세 문헌에 대하여 각 문헌의 서지 사항을 재검토하는 한편 先後 關係를 중심으로 세 문헌의 상호 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 본고에서 논의된 바를 간략히 요약하여 제시하면 대략 아래와 같다.[도표]
Abstract
Dyengmi gareshi ilgui (Daily Record on Felicitous Rites in the Year of Dyengmi) refers to a manuscript in the Korean alphabet, on the wedding ceremony of royal concubine Gyeongbin Kim-ssi who married the King Heongjong in the year of Dyeongmi (1847, the 13th reign of the King Heonjong). This record contains the ceremonial formalities, the list of necessary items, and so forth. This manuscript is a valuable source material for a study on royal tradition as it provides us with knowledge on procedures of the ceremony, required items, and roles alloted for court ladies in detail. Besides, native Korean terms with the elegant handwriting appeared in the list of goods are worth studying in the field of the history of Korean vocabulary as well as caligraphy. As one of the materials from the royal library, Jangseogak, Dyengmi gareshi ilgui has been exposed to the public through various exhibitions associated with the court culture, and registered into the 'One-hundred List of Cultural Heritages in the Korean alphabet' in 2002. As compared to the merit as a source material, however, little has been done on Dyengmi gareshi ilgui from the aspect of bibliographical study. The classical Chinese edition (a scroll, collected by Kyujang'gak library), identical with Dyengmi gareshi ilgui by its contents, has been introduced. It has been also mentioned that another version, Jyeongmi garyeshi ilgui (6 volumes, collected by Jangseogak library), exists with a different structure. Still, fewer studies have attempted to draw a comparison among theses three editions and discuss their relationship. Hence, this paper is intended to reexamine the bibliographical information on the extant three editions and analyze the relation in the context of the publication period.
