『牧隱詩精選』의 자료적 성격과 특징

Abstract

This study investigates the quality as a material for study and characteristics of Careful Selection of Mogeun’s Poerty in Jangseogak, Gyujanggak, etc. Poems in Careful Selection of Mogeun’s Poerty were selected by Lee Gyejeon, Mogeun’s grandson, who had divided into Mogeun’s poems into a quatrain with five characters to a line and seven characters, and strophe and free verse. Later, Mogeun’s great-grandson, Lee Bong, made a wood-block print. It was made during Lee Bong’s stay in Jeonju as Buyoon (a head in a department of local government office) which was for two years from Febuary, 1482 to September, 1484. Careful Selection of Mogeun’s Poerty has the chosen poetry of 1505 titles and 2155 poems, which is 36.2% of 4165 titles and 5956 poems in Mogeun’s Draft Poems. The way of selecting was that while reading books in turn from No. 2 to No. 35 of Mogeun’s Draft Poems, poems were selected but if they were not enough, books were reread and poems were reselected. Careful Selection of Mogeun’s Poerty was the oldest and the most reliable material in the existing literatures that collected Mogeun’s poetry, which thus enables it to compensate for Mogeun’s Draft Poems. It helps correct all the missing or wrong letters and is a valuable material in that Mogeun’s verse forms which is not easy to figure out can be identified precisely.
