수도권 인구이동의 선별적 특성에 관한 연구: 수도권으로의 이동 특성과 수도권 내의 이동 특성을 중심으로

본 연구는 인적 자본의 변화를 보기위해 인구이동 특성을 선별적 관점에서 이동 특성에 따라 수도권과 비수도권, 수도권내의 이동으로 구분하여 비교하였다. 연구의 방법은 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 이용하여 비수도권에서 비수도권과 수도권으로의 이동, 수도권 내 이동에 대해 연령, 학력, 성별, 결혼 상태, 직업을 변수로 하여 분석하였다. 인구 이동 자료는 2000년과 2005년의 인구주택총조사 2% 표본자료를 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 기존의 연구에서 일반적으로 나타나는 선별적 특성과 유사하나, 일부 변수의 경우 지역 특성에 따라 다르게 나타나고 있다. 특히 연령은 수도권보다 비수도권의 이동에 더 큰 영향을 미치며, 직업과 학력의 경우 유출지에 관계없이 수도권으로의 이동에 더 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 수도권 내에서는 경기와 서울로의 이동에서도 선별적 특성이 다르게 나타나는데 이동 성향의 방향은 대개 유사하게 나타나고 있으나 연령은 그렇지 않다. 2000년과 2005년의 시계열 비교에서 볼 때 학력의 영향력은 더 커지고 직업 종류의 영향력은 다소 증가하였으며, 연령의 영향은 완화되는 경향을 보이고 있다.
Abstract
The study investigates the migrant selectivity and migrant characteristics of intra-capital area (Seoul and Gyonggi) and inter-regional area in terms of capital vs. non-capital area. The study used the multinominal logistic regression model to analyze 4 types of inter-regional migration and 3 types of intra-regional migration using variables such as ages, gender, education, marital status, and occupation. Ages have stronger influence over the migrants in non-capital area than in the capital area. On the other hand education and occupation has stronger influence over the migrants in the capital area. In 2005 compared to 2000, the influence of education status and occupation has increased whereas that of ages does not.
