연구 목적: 강릉 지역에서 매년 시행되는 ‘교산 허균 문화제’의 현황을 살펴보고 활성화 방안을 탐색해 본 것이다. 이 글을 통하여 외부 관광객들에게 본 축제가 알려지고 친숙한 행사로 자리잡기를 바란다. 연구 방법: 강릉 지역만이 아니라 인물을 대상으로 한 다른 지역의 축제를 살펴보고. ‘교산 허균 문화제’의 특성과 방향을 제시했다. 이를 위해서 프로그램의 현대화와 다양화가 필요하며, 홍보 전략을 강화할 방법이 요구된다. 마지막으로 비주얼 프로그램 등을 통해 관람객의 흥미를 유도할 수 있는 전략이 제시되어야 한다. 결 론: 허균 문화제는 문학적 깊이를 유지하면서도 대중성과 현대적 감각을 결합해야 한다. 이를 통해 허균 문화제는 단순한 지역 축제를 넘어, 강릉의 정체성을 대표하고 지역 경제와 문화 활성화에 기여하는 지속 가능한 문화축제로 발전할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
Objectives: This is to examine the current status of the 'Gyosan Heo Gyun Cultural Festival' held every year in the Gangneung area and explore ways to revitalize it. Through this article, I hope that this festival will be known to outside tourists and become a familiar event. Methods: We looked at festivals targeting not only the Gangneung area but also people from other regions. And based on this, the characteristics and direction of the 'Gyosan Heo Gyun Cultural Festival' were presented. To this end, it is necessary to modernize and diversify the program, and a method to strengthen the promotion strategy is required. Finally, a strategy that can induce the interest of visitors through visual programs, etc. should be presented. Conclusions: 'Gyosan Heo Gyun Cultural Festival' must combine popularity with a modern sense while maintaining a literary depth. Through this, the 'Gyosan Heo Gyun Cultural Festival' will be able to develop into a sustainable cultural festival that represents Gangneung's identity and contributes to revitalizing the local economy and culture.
