이 연구는 프로시니엄 아치로 객석 공간과 무대 공간이 확연하게 구획된 구조를 가진 프로시니엄 극장에서 행해지는 창작무용 작품을 입체음향 기술을 이용하여 무대와 객석 간의 단절된 이미지를 해소함에 목적이 있다. 역사적 사실과 연구 자료들을 토대로 하여 종합적으로 살펴본 결과 무대와 공연장은 공연예술을 도구로써 활용하는 정치, 종교, 문화, 경제적 상황과 당시의 건축기술에 따라 상응하게 변천해 왔음을 알 수가 있다. 공연장은 고대 그리스 시대를 시작으로 프로시니엄 극장이 처음 등장한 르네상스시대 이래 대부분 공연장은 프로시니엄 극장의 형태로 만들어져 왔다. 현대에 이르러서는 관객 참여형 연극이나 가변무대를 이용한 새로운 연출이 시도되는 등 여러 가지 변화가 일어났지만 이러한 시도는 기존의 극장 건축물을 벗어나야만 가능한 시도이다. 이에 본 연구는 고정된 건축물인 공연장을 입체기술을 이용하여 무대와 객석간의 단절된 이미지를 해소하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to solve the disconnected image between the stage and the auditorium using 3D acoustic technology for creative dance works performed in the Proscenium Theater, which has a structure in which auditorium space and stage space are clearly partitioned with a proscenium arch. As a result of a comprehensive examination based on historical facts and research data, it can be seen that the stage and the performance hall have changed accordingly according to the political, religious, cultural, and economic situation using performing arts as a tool and the architectural technology of the time. Performance halls began in the ancient Greek period, and since the Renaissance era, when the proscenium theater first appeared, most venues have been made in the form of proscenium theaters. In modern times, various changes have occurred, such as an attempt to create an audience participatory play or a new directing using a variable stage, but such an attempt is only possible if it deviates from the existing theater architecture. Therefore, this study solved the disconnected image between the stage and the auditorium by using the 3D acoustic technology for a performance hall.
