본 연구는 내러티브 연구에서 교육학적 만남의 측면에 초점을 맞춘다. 즉 한 개인의 삶에 대한 내러티브적 연구로서의 생애사 연구가 일정한 사회적 공간 속에서 살아가는 한 개인의 삶에 대한 전반적인 설명과 이해에 그치는 것이 아니라, 그 개인적 주체가 살아가고 있는 시대의 여러 가지 사회적인 현상이나 문화 속에서 계속적인 소통을 통해서 변화하고 성장해 나간다는 것에 주목한다. 그래서 본 연구는 생애사 연구과정에서의 내러티브 만남이 이해와 학습을 발전시키는 과정으로 천착되는 모습을 보여주고자 한다. 생애사 연구과정에서 학습자가 형성하는 내러티브적 조망 안에서 이루어지는 만남은 학습으로 가는 또 하나의 의미 있는 길임을 확인하고, 이는 궁극적으로 내러티브 교육학(narrative pedagogy)의 이론을 확립하는 데 주요한 역할을 할 주요 이슈들을 드러낼 수 있도록 해 줄 것이다.
Abstract
This study is focused on the aspect of educational encounter within Narrative Research. The life history research as a narrative research of one’s personal life is not limited to overall understanding of personal life within specific social space, but to focus on transition and development of personal self through continuing communication by social phenomenon and culture of the current era. Accordingly, this study is to prove the narrative encounter of the life history research process being excavated as a development process of understanding and learning. The composed encounter within the developed narrative viewpoint of life history research confirms a new path of learning, which ultimately will reveal the major issues which will play a primary role in establishing the theory of narrative pedagogy.
