전공연계봉사활동이 대학생의 자기효능감과 진로의식에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 전공연계봉사활동이 대학생의 자기효능감과 진로의식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 N대학교의 4개학과 68명을 대상으로 전공연계봉사활동을 실시하였다. 대학생의 자기효능감과 진로의식에 대한 효과를 분석하기 위해 자기효능감과 진로의식 검사를 학기 초와 학기 말에 실시하여 그 변화를 양적으로 분석하였다. 그 결과, 전공연계봉사활동 후 대학생의 자기효능감에서는 평균점수가 향상되었지만 유의미한 결과를 보이지 않았고, 진로의식에서는유의미한 결과를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 대학생들이 전공과 관련된 다양한 봉사활동을 통해 전공과관련된 대상자의 어려움을 알고 전공과 관련된 지식을 활용해 봄으로써 대학생들의 진로결정에 영향을 줄 수 있음을 시사하고 있으며, 학과 전공과 관련된 교수방법으로서 봉사활동의 필요성을 보여주고 있다.
Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the effect of major-related volunteering on self-efficiency and career awareness in sixth eight university students. Self-efficiency and career awareness were analyzed quantitatively before and after major-related volunteering activity. As a result of the research, after they have taken the major-related volunteering activity, student's career awareness increased meaningfully but self-efficiency weren't positive changed during major-related volunteering activity. These results indicates that major-related volunteering was effective teaching method in understanding major and improving career development.
