학생들의 달 위상 변화에 대한 원리 이해를 돕기 위해선 단순한 설명보다 직접 관찰 가능한 모형 실험을 이용하였을 때 더욱 효과적이다. 달의 위상을이해하기 위해선 위치관계를 함께 고려할 수 있어야 하므로, 달의 위상에 대한 입체적인 파악을 돕기 위한 모형 실험 장치가 학습 시 요구된다. 따라서본 연구에서는 웹캠을 이용하여 지구와 우주에서의 관찰 시점을 동시에 제공할 수 있는 모형을 개발하였다. 본 모형 장치를 활용할 경우, 짧은 시간내 교사의 시범으로 전체 학습이 가능하기에 현장에서 활용도가 높을 것으로 기대된다. 뿐만 아니라, 모형 실험 장치를 설계하는데 있어 스타이로폼, 우드락 등의 구하기 쉽고 가공하기 쉬운 재료를 이용함으로써 학생들이 쉽게 제작할 수 있다. 이와 같은 모형 장치를 학생들이 직접 제작하는 과정은발견 및 탐구학습, 동아리 활동으로도 적용 가능하다.
Abstract
In order to help students understand the principles of the moon phase changes, it is more effective to use directly observable experimental model than the simple explanation. To help the students understand the relationship between the positions of the moon phase, three-dimensional model experimental device is required for learning. In this study, We developed a model that can provide a point of observation on the earth and the space at the same time using a webcam. If the teachers use this experimental model, it is expected that they can show full demonstration of learning within a short time in the class and it could be used highly. In addition, in designing the experimental apparatus, students can easily create it by using the materials such as styrofoam and foam board etc to be found easily around us. Such activities for students to make the device model by themselves, it can be adopted for exploring and learning, also extracurricular activities.
