현재 다수의 기독교 대학은 복음전파와 세상 속 인재양성이라는 복합적 목표를 가지고, 이를 달성하기 위한 효과적인 대학 운영방안에 대해 고민 속에 있다. 종교의 자유와 문화의 다양성 등이 현대 사회의 전반적인 분위기로 자리 잡고 있는 상황에서 기독교 대학의 교육 목표를 어디에 두어야 하는가는 오래전부터 고민해 온 과제이기도 하다. 세대변화, 종교 가치관의 사회적 준용과 획일화된 시스템에 민감한 20대 대학생들이기에 기독교 대학의 고민은 더욱 깊어지고 있는 것이 사실이다. 현실적으로 기독교대학은 채플을 필수과목으로 의무이수 하게 함으로써 설립정신과 대학의 근본적 목표를 대체하고 있는 경우가 대부분이었다. 하지만 현재 상황을 감안할 때 교육과정안에 기독교에 대한 올바른 이해와 신앙에 대한 고민, 기독교적 세계관에 대한 이해를 가질 수 있도록 하고, 궁극적으로 예수 그리스도를 영접하고, 복음을 전파해야 하는 실천적 해법과 대안이 필요할 것으로 보인다. 이러한 문제를 학문적, 이론적으로 접근하고 해결할 수 있다면 의미 있는 연구의 대상이 될 수도 있다는 점에서 본 연구는 시작되었다. 학문이 아닌 종교로서의 기독교를 교육과정에 내재화하여 이를 통해 보다 미래지향적이고 효과적인 대학의 설립목적을 달성하고 기대효과를 극대화하기 위한 방안은 무엇이며 이를 위해 무엇을 해야 하는지 고민해보고자 한다. 기독교대학의 방향성과 목적, 그리고 이를 위한 실천적 대안이 포괄화된 연구를 수행하고자 하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 기독교 대학의 현 상황을 인식하고 변화 방향을 찾기 위해 기존의 연구방법에서 벗어나 장기적인 관점에서 접근하는 동태적 방법론을 통해 보다 구체적이고 객관적인 접근을 시도하였다. 대학의 지속가능한 성장을 위한 영향요인에 대한 규명과 동시에 종교에 대한 올바른 이해 뿐 아니라 장기적 관점에서의 기독교 대학 발전을 위한 시스템적 관점에서 시뮬레이션을 통해 이를 구체화하고 분석하였다. 결론적으로 연구를 통해 기독교 대학이 가져야만 하는 교육내용과 방법론에 대한 통찰력과 방향성을 제시하고, 이를 구체적으로 실행하기 위한 대안을제시하여 기독교 대학이 본연의 역할을 충실히 수행하기 위한 전략의 방향성을 수립할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
Lots of Christian universities have a complex goal of spreading the gospel and nurturing talented people. Also they are thinking about effective university operation plans to achieve it. In a situation where religious freedom and cultural diversity are taking root in the general atmosphere of modern society, where to place the educational goals of Christian universities is a task that has been contemplated for a long time. It is true that the concerns of Christian universities are deepening because they are college students in their 20s who are sensitive to generational change, social application of religious values, and a social system. In most cases, Christian University replaced the funda-mental goal of founding psychiatric by making chapels a compulsory subject. However, there are practical solutions and alternatives that require a correct understanding of Christianity, concerns about faith, and an understanding of the Christian worldview, ultimately accepting Jesus Christ, and spreading the gospel in the curriculum. This study started from the point that if these problems can be approached and solved academically and theoretically. By internalizing Christianity as a religion, not an academic, we would like to think about how to achieve the purpose of establishing a more future-oriented and effective university and maximize the expected effect and what to do for this. It was intended to conduct a comprehensive study of the direction and purpose of Christian universities and practical alternatives for this purpose. In order to recognize the current situation of Christian universities and find the direction of change, This study tried to take a more specific and objective approach through a dynamic methodology that approaches from a long-term perspective, breaking away from existing research methods. In addition to identifying the factors influencing the sustainable growth of the university, it was specified and analyzed through simulation from a systematic perspective for the development of a Christian university from a long-term perspective as well as a correct understanding of religion. We hope to present insights and directions on the educational content and meth odologies that Christian universities must have, and suggest alternatives to implement them concretely to establish the direction of strategies for Christian universities to faithfully fulfill their original roles.
