성경적 정의 관점에서 본 사회정의 운동의 위험성, 그리고 개혁주의생명신학의 실천적 대안

초록

최근 네오막시즘(Neo-Marxism)과 포스트모더니즘에 영향을 받은 사회정의에 대한 목소리들이 신학적, 기독교 윤리적 검증없이 무분별하게 교회와 강단으로 유입되고 있다. 분명 정의는 성경이 증언하는 신학적, 윤리적 핵심 요소이지만. 성경적 정의는 창조질서와 언약에 뿌리를 두고 있으며 구속사를 통해 그리스도안에서 회복된다는 점에서 사회정의와 명백히 구분된다. 이 논문은 21세기 사회정의 운동의 동향과 위험성을 면밀히 검토하고 개혁주의생명신학에서 대안을 모색하여 설교학적으로 수행되어야 할 실천적인 제언을 하는 것에 그 목적을 둔다. 이를 달성 하기 위해 이 연구는 첫째, 성경적 정의의 정립과 파괴 그리고 회복이 구속사의 중추지점을 따라 함께 흐르고 있다는 것을 논증할 것이다. 둘째, 그 전제에서 창조질서, 언약 신학, 선지적 목소리, 그리고 그리스도에 의한 새창조를 통해 드러난 성경적 정의의 의미를 추론할 것이다. 셋째, 21세기 사회정의 운동은 사회분열과 혐오를 야기하고, 윤리적 책임을 전가함을 정당화 시키고, 기만적 희망을 조장한다는 점에서 비성경적임을 피력하고, 이에 대한 대안을 개혁주의생명신학이 표방하는 실천운동에서 찾을 것이다. 넷째, 목회자들이 강단에서 선포해야 하는 성경적 정의는 인간 본성에 대한 자각과 회개, 사회적 용서와 화해 그리고 종말론적 희망 안에서 남은자로 살아가기를 독려 하는 것임을 제언하고 이를 구현한 바람직한 설교 모델들을 제공 할 것이다.

Abstract

In recent years the concept of social justice, which is heavily influenced by Postmodern neo-Marxism, has made inroads into the evangelical pulpit without careful discernment. The Scripture witnesses that justice and righteousness are profoundly theological and ethical ideas in the Bible. However, biblical justice is clearly distinguished from social justice in that it is rooted in the Creation order and the Covenant, and will be restored in Christ through the redemptive history. Recognizing the urgency of the situation in the pulpit, this study endeavors to define biblical justice based on the Reformed Life Theology through a comparison with the 21st –century social justice movement and propose homiletic practices. This essay will first argue that biblical justice flows along with the four pivotal points of redemptive history. Second, based on the premise, this writer will establish the meaning of biblical justice is revealed through creation order, covenant, prophetic voice, and the new creation in Christ. Next, the research will claim that social justice movement is anti-biblical in that the movement causes social division and hatred, and justifies ethical irresponsibility and promotes deceptive hope. Fourth, the task of the preachers is calling people to repent and realize human nature, declaring social reconciliation and forgiveness, and encouraging the remnant to strive with eschatological hope. Finally, the desirable sermon model that embodies the proposals will be offered.
