아브라함 언약의 신학적 함의와 개혁주의생명신학적 적용 : 15 17 창세기 장과 장을 중심으로

초록

이 논문의 목적은 창세기에 나타난 아브라함 언약의 신학적 연구를 바탕으로 하여 그것이 개혁주의생명신학에 주는 함의를 보여주는 데 있다. 아브라함 언약은 성서학 연구에서 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 왜냐하면 모세오경과 역사서 그리고 선지서에이르기까지 계속해서 이스라엘 백성들에게 언급되며 성취와 미래적 약속으로 전개되고 있기 때문이다. 본고에서 필자는 아브라함 언약이 언급된 창세기 15장과 17장에 나타난 언약이 일부 역사비평학자들이 주장하는 것과 같이 전혀 다른 별개의 언약이 아니라 유기적 통일성을 가지고 있다는 것을 고찰하였다. 이를 위해 본문이 학계에서 어떻게 해석되어왔는지 연구사를 개관하고, 이후 본문의 구조를 분석하며 중심 주제가 본문에서 어떻게 작용하고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 창세기 15장과 17장을 이끌고 가는 기본적인 요소에서 후손에 대한 약속, 땅에 대한 약속, 하나님과의 관계에 대한 약속은 두 장에 모두나타나며 주제적 일관성을 갖는다. 또한 이곳에 나타난 씨에 대한 언급은 아브라함의 자손으로 장차 다윗 왕의 계통을 통해 이 땅에 오실 왕적 메시아인 그리스도에게까지 이른다. 아브라함 언약에서 강조하고 있는 것은 언약 당사자의 믿음과 순종이다. 창세기 15장은 아브라함의 믿음이 강조되어 언급되었다. 반면 창세기 17장은 아브라함이 하나님께 온전히 순종해야 함을 강조하고 있다. 이것은 하나님께 대한 믿음과 온전한 순종의 미덕을 보여준다. 따라서 창세기 15장과 17장의 언약이 공고하게 되고 아브라함과 아브라함의 후손 그리고 열방까지 하나님의 복을 받게된다. 본 연구가 오늘날 개혁주의생명신학에 던지는 메시지는 분명하다. 아브라함 언약 연구는 믿음과 실천적 순종을 중요시하는 개혁주의생명신학이 지향해야 할 방향성을 잘 보여준다.

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to show the meaning it gives to the Reformed Life Theology based on the theological research of the Abrahamic covenant in Genesis. The Abrahamic covenant can be said to be very important in biblical research. This is because even the Pentateuch, the historical books, and the prophets continue to be mentioned to the people of Israel and unfold as fulfillment and future promises. In this study, I studied that the covenant in Genesis 15 and 17 mentioned by the Abrahamic covenant has organic unity, unlike some historical critics who claim that it is a completely different covenant. In addition, we outlined the research history on how the text has been interpreted in academia, analyzed the structure of the text, and examined how the central theme is working in the text. In the basic elements of Genesis 15 and 17, the promise of descendants, the promise of the land, and the promise of a relationship with God appear in both chapters and are consistent in subject matter. The reference to the seed here also extends to Christ, the royal Messiah, the descendant of Abraham, who will come through the lineage of King David. The Abrahamic covenant emphasizes the faith and obedience of the covenant parties. On the other hand, Genesis 17 emphasizes that Abraham must obey God completely. This shows the virtue of faith in God and perfect obedience. Therefore, the covenant of Genesis 15 and 17 will become firm, and Abraham, his descendants, and even the nations will receive God's blessings. The implications of this study for today's Reformed Life Theology are clear. The study of the Abrahamic covenant shows the direction that Reformed Life Theology should aim for, which emphasizes faith and practical obedience.
