‘오직 하나님께 영광’은 창조, 섭리, 구속에서 ‘오직 하나님의영광이’ 드러나는 것을 말한다. 창조, 섭리, 구속의 모든 과정을오직 하나님께서 이루어가시기 때문에 오직 하나님께만 영광이있게 된다. 루터는 중세의 영광의 신학을 비판하면서 십자가신학과 이신칭의를 통해 오직 하나님께 영광을 주장하였다. 칼빈은창조, 섭리, 구속에서 오직 하나님께 영광이 있음을 주장하였다. 특히 구속에서 유효인(하나님의 자비와 사랑과 긍휼), 질료인(예수 그리스도), 형상인(복음의 선포), 수단인(믿음), 목적인(영광) 의 5가지 원인들의 유기적 연결 속에서 구속에서 오직 하나님께영광이 있음이 잘 드러난다고 설명하고 있다. 칼빈은 오직 하나님께 영광이 있음으로 제네바 요리문답을 작성하여 하나님께 영광을 돌리는 삶을 살도록 교육하였다. 개혁주의생명신학은 오직 하나님께 영광이 있음이 오직 성경, 오직 은혜, 오직 믿음, 오직 그리스도의 종합을 통해 잘 드러났음으로 오직 하나님께 영광을 돌리는 실천에 중점을 두고 있다. 개혁주의생명신학은 오직 하나님께 영광을 돌리는 삶을 신앙운동, 신학회복운동, 회개용서운동, 영적 생명운동, 하나님 나라 운동, 나눔운동, 기도성령운동의 7대 실천사항을 통해 실천하고자 노력하고 있다.
Abstract
‘Soli Deo Gloria’ refers to ‘the glory of God alone’ being revealed in creation, providence, and redemption. Because only God carries out the entire process of creation, providence, and redemption, only God has glory. Luther criticized the medieval theology of glory and insisted on giving glory to God alone through the theology of the cross and justification by faith. Calvin argued that only God has glory in creation, providence, and redemption. In particular, in the organic connection of the five causes of redemption, the effective cause (God's mercy, love, and compassion), the material cause (Jesus Christ), the formal cause (proclamation of the gospel), the instrumental cause (faith), and the purpose cause (glory), it is explained that it is clearly revealed soli Deo Gloria in redemption. Calvin believed that only God has glory, so he wrote the Geneva Catechism and educated people to live a life that gives glory to God. Reformed Life Theolog focuses on the practice of giving glory to God alone, as it is clearly revealed through the synthesis of sola scriptura, sola gratia, sola fide, and solus Christus that there is soli Deo gloria. Reformed Life Theology strives to practice a life that gives glory to God alone through the seven major practices of faith movement, theological restoration movement, repentance and forgiveness movement, spiritual life movement, kingdom of God movement, sharing movement, and prayer and Holy Spirit movement.
