기업이 급변하는 환경변화를 빠르게 인지하고 경쟁의 심화에 능동적으로 대처하기 위해 기업생태계(business ecosystem)의 중요성에 대한 인식이 높아지고 있다. 건강하고 경쟁력 있는 기업생태계에서는 개방형 혁신(open innovation) 체계 구축으로 창의적 기술혁신이 보다 활발하게 이루어진다. 하지만 경쟁력 있는 기업생태계 구축은 창업기업에게 자원과 역량 부족으로 현실화하기 힘든 과제로 남아 있는 것이 현실이다. 즉 대기업과 달리 지방의 중소기업들은 개방형 혁신활동에 적극적으로 참여하기에는 보유 자원과 네트워크 측면에서 장애가 존재한다. 본 연구는 대학이 창업기업의 개방형 혁신 체계 구축을 위해 퍼실리테이터의 역할을 수행할 수 있음에 초점을 둔다. 과거 기술개발과 이전, 인력조달 등의 관점이 아닌 창업기업의 생태계 구축 및 경쟁력 강화에 대한 대학의 퍼실리테이터로서의 역할을 검증하고자 한다. 지방 A대학의 클리닉데이(clinic day)라는 산학협력 프로그램을 통해 시행 전과 후의 생태계 변화를 네트워크 분석을 통해 분석하고, 사례를 통한 창업기업 네트워크 형성 패턴을 도출하였다.
Abstract
t becomes to be essential for firms to build up collaboration ecosystem with diverse entities and to be common for firms to absorb knowledge from external environment for their innovation. Companies try to transfer technological or knowledge asset to other firms through open innovation. The purpose of this research is to suggest the role of universities in University-Industry Collaborations besides research collaboration and we focus on the role of university to strengthen the regional business ecosystem network. For this research, we analyze a specific UIC(University Industry Collaboration) program called as "Business Clinic Day" which provides a consulting service for firms, especially, SMEs with a specific problem by a group of consultants including CEOs, professors, and heads of regional public or private service providers. Then we studied how the business network has changed after the program with network analysis. Also, we try to find out the main pattern of network structure extension of business ecosystem with interview. This study illustrates that changing types of network are formed between university and SMEs by clinic day. The result shows that not only new role as a network promoter, but also the partner as a technology-provider in the regional business ecosystem.
