본 연구는 노인의 스마트폰 활용이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 검중으로 정보 활용능력 향상을 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 본 조사는 D광역시 소재 노인복지관 프로그램에 참여중인 노인을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 통해 얻어진 자료 708명 중 스마트폰 이용경험이 있는 396명을 최종분석 자료로 활용하였다. 연구결과 노인의 스마트폰 이용과 도움정도는 삶의 만족도와 정(+)적 상관관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 노인의 스마트폰 활용에 따른 삶의 만족도 차이검증을 통해 스마트폰 활용 노인의 삶의 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다(F=6.836, p<.001). 노인의 스마트폰 이용과 지각하는 도움정도가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향에서는 스마트폰 사용이 도움 된다고 지각하는 것이 삶의 만족도를 높이는 것(β=.145, p<.05)로 나타났으며, 그 설명력은 12.2%였다(F=8.856, p<.001). 이런 결과는 스마트폰 사용하는 그 자체보다 스마트폰 사용이 스스로의 삶에 도움이 된다고 지각하는 것이 삶의 만족도를 더욱 높이는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 노인의 스마트폰 활용이 삶의 전반에 직접적인 도움으로 이어지는 교육과 프로그램이 마련될 필요가 있다.
Abstract
The propose of this study is intended to explore ways to improve information service skills by measuring the impact of smartphone use on the satisfaction level of life for the elderly. Of the 708 self-subscribed data obtained through a self-subscribed survey of senior citizens participating in a welfare center program for senior citizens in D-area, this survey utilized 396 people with experience in using smartphones as final analysis data. Research has shown that elderly people's use of smartphones and their level of help have a positive relationship with their satisfaction in life. The satisfaction level of the life of the elderly using smartphones has been shown to be high (F=6.836, p<.001). In the context of the impact of the elderly's use of smartphones and perceived assistance on the satisfaction level of life, the perception that smartphone use is helpful increases the satisfaction level of life (β=.145, p<.05) with 12.2% explanatory power (F=8.856, p<.001). The results mean that the perceived use of smartphones is more conducive to one's own life than the use of smartphones itself is more satisfying. Therefore, education and programs need to be in place, in which the use of smartphones by senior citizens leads to direct help throughout their lives.
