Abstract

A Mission Strategy for Evangelization of the Republic of Benin: with Criticism of History and Doctrine of Céleste Christianity Chang, Hun Tae (Baekseok University) Artificial Intelligence and the Fourth Industrial Revolution are now active in the world. Until just recently the earth was in the Cold War era. Consequently all areas including politics were the cold war systems because of compatibility between Capitalism and Communism. The whole world did not interact, but religious leaders have met under the name of religion. They spoke statistics about a rapid increase of Muslim without hesitation. Meanwhile, according to statistics in 2015 Christian members have increased. This problem however is not just good and not something we can just pass over. Why? For example, it is because tribal wars and religious conflicts are arising due to cultural clashes and conflicts even though various religions coexists in the west Africa. Recently, the cores of serious issues in the global village are terrorism, ethnic tension, and refugee problem, etc. On the other hand, Africa is in the midst of controversy about universality and particularity due to a newly risen religions. In the case of the west Africa, millions of people are confused by the new religion. There are many religions which have taken the form of new christianity in the west Africa including the Republic of Benin. The emergence of Céleste christianity working actively and positively in Benin has brought life and ethics unlike orthodox christianity, so this paper examines Céleste christianity’s history, its founder, background of appearance, and so on. Furthermore this biblically and theologically criticizes nine doings(doctrine) which is emphasized by Céleste christianity: to put the center to the Bible, to understand the Bible, the leader is Jesus Christ, to follow the way of prophets, gift of recovery, Baptism, Communion, wedding anniversary, and funeral for church members. To build the Gospel beliefs of Christianity this paper finally proposes to approach for cooperative society, to make church a place for communication, to place the root of the Gospel, and to contact with use of media based on the Bible, etc. The purpose of this study is to get interested in a person and so to achieve the plan of salvation of God by criticizing history and doctrine of Céleste Christianity on the view of the Gospel beliefs and by planing a strategy.
