간호대학생의 자기효능감과 우울감이 대인커뮤니케이션 능력에 미치는 효과

커뮤니케이션은 간호에 반드시 필요한 중요한 영역이다. 본 연구는 간호대학생의 자기효능감과 우울감이 대인커뮤니케이션 능력에 미치는 효과를 확인하고자 시행된 조사연구이다. 총 370명의 간호대학생을 대상으로 하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. (1) 대인의사소통 능력은 우울감(r=-.28, p<.001)과 자기효능감(r=.58, p<.001)과 우울감은 자기효능감(r=-.24, p<.001)과 유의한 상관관계를 나타냈다. (2) 위계적 회귀모형 단계 1에서 간호대학생의 대인커뮤니케이션 능력에 유의한 영향요인은 학년(p=.011), 대인관계(p<.001), 성격유형(p=.012)이었으며 20.2%를 설명하였고, 단계 2에서 유의한 영향요인은 학년(p=.040), 사회경제적 상태(p=.026), 대인관계(p=.001), 우울(p<.001), 자기효능감(p=.036)이었으며 설명력은 40.2%로 증가하였다. 본 연구결과 자기효능감과 우울감은 간호대학생의 대인의사소통 능력에 유의한 영향요인으로 나타났다. 더 나아가 대인의사소통 능력을 향상시키기 위해 우울감과 자기효능감을 증진시킬 프로그램 개발에 관한 연구를 제안한다.
Abstract
This study is casual research conducted to identify the factors that influence of self-efficacy and depressive symptom on interpersonal communication competence of nursing students. The major statistical analysis results of 370 nursing students were as follows. (1) interpersonal communication competence had a negative correlation with depressive symptom (r=-.28, p<.001) and self-efficacy (r=.58, p<.001) and depressive symptom had a negative correlation with self-efficacy(r=-.24, p<.001). (2) In hierarchical regression step 1 factors that had significant impact on interpersonal communication competence of nursing students were grade (p=.011), interpersonal relationship (p<.001), personality (p=.012) with an explanatory power of 20.2%. In hierarchical regression step 2 factors that had significant impact on interpersonal communication competence of nursing students were grade (p=.040), perceived socioeconomic status (p=.026), interpersonal relationship (p=.001), depressive symptom (p<.001) and self-efficacy (p=.036) and explanatory power was increased to 40.2%. Through this study, self-efficacy and depressive symptom were identified as having the significant effect on interpersonal communication competence. As a follow-up, in order to improve interpersonal communication competence, a study to develop programs that would promote self-efficacy and depressive symptom are suggested.
