Abstract
In a situation where weather determines the success or failure of an industry, the seriousness of global climate change is increasingly pronounced. National parks, particularly characterized by outdoor activities and mountainous terrain, are significantly influenced by such weather and climate variations as they greatly impact visitor demand and satisfaction. In this context, this study quantitatively analyzed the relationship between weather factors and demand for national park visits, deriving weather factors affecting national park visitation demand and evaluating their impact. The analysis revealed that precipitation factors influenced visitation demand during the autumn season, with demand being regulated by weekdays and holidays. During non-autumn seasons, both precipitation and temperature were statistically significant, with visitation demand being regulated by weekdays and holidays based on these factors as well. Based on the research findings, it is deemed possible to establish appropriate park management and operational strategies by understanding changes in national park visitation demand according to weather factors.
